Coach Madsen is entering his 9th season as head coach for Utah State Eastern, following four years as an assistant coach. Madsen's brother is former Utah State Eastern head coach, and current Utah Valley University head coach Eric Madsen. Madsen and his wife Denice, have 4 children, Kyler (13), Tenley (7), Tyrus (4) and Tayson (1). Madsen received his bachelors in leadership from Bellevue University and is currently working on his masters degree in business. Coach Madsen is from Idaho Falls, ID

KC Smurthwaite, Assistant Coach

Coach Smurthwaite is entering in his 2nd year with the Utah State Eastern baseball program. Coach Smurthwaite is currently working towards his bachelors degree and will take the recruiting and first base coach duties for this upcoming season. Coach Smurthwaite is from Billings, MT.

Frank Ori, Assistant Coach
|
Coach Ori is entering his 11th season as an assistant baseball coach at Utah State Eastern. He also does play-by-play for Utah State Eastern Men's and Women's basketball and is known as the "voice of the Golden Eagles." Coach Ori graduated from Mesa State in 1998 with his bachelors in mass communications with an emphasis broadcasting in public relations.
