The College of Eastern Utah was established in 1937, as a two-year, state supported community
college operated under the Utah State Board of Regents. It is accredited by the Northwest
Association of Schools and Colleges. Credits earned at CEU are transferable to other institutions
of higher learning in the United States. Most CEU students are in the Associate Degree program
and transfer to four-year schools upon their graduation. We also offer many one and two-year
certificate programs which can be completed at CEU. CEU’s graduates have transferred to schools
throughout the U.S. and have excelled in many academic fields.
The College of Eastern Utah is located in Price, Utah. Price is a rural community near the red
rocks of Utah’s canyon country, the majestic Wasatch Mountains, and many points of interest
(see Campus Virtual Tour
and Price Vicinity Virtual Tour).
All five of Utah’s National Parks are within an easy drive from CEU’s campus. We have four distinct
seasons with few extreme temperatures. Price and its surrounding communities have a population of
just over 21,000. Price has a very low crime rate making it a very safe place to attend school.
CEU is a great place for international students to study. Of our 3100 students, less than 1% are
international. Because our international student body is so small we appreciate each student for
the uniqueness they add to our campus. International students are welcome here!
