In an effort to help students with the expenses of their education, USU Eastern has committed itself to the following scholarship program.
We strongly encourage all students to submit the Admission and Scholarship Applications by the priority deadline of February 1st. We also strongly encourage all students to apply for Federal Financial Aid, using the FAFSA
(Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Form by a priority deadline of February 1st.
Applications will continue to be received and considered after the deadline of February 1st, but awards can not be guaranteed. If the Admission Application, Scholarship Application and the results of the FAFSA Application are postmarked or received by February 1st, students will be awarded the types of financial aid and scholarships for which they are eligible. The following list shows the types of financial aid and scholarships available and that can be awarded up to the amounts listed, if amounts are listed:

Applications for the 2010-2011 Education-Portal.com Academic Scholarships are due April 1st. There are 5 undergraduate scholarships ranging from $500 - $1,000 available to associate, diploma, and certificate seeking students in a wide range of fields. Science and Computer Engineering Degrees - Undergraduate Academic Award A $1,000 academic award given to a student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Degrees - Undergraduate Academic Award A $500 academic award given to a student pursuing any associate or bachelor degree emphasizing a Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement concentration. Liberal Arts and General Studies Degrees - Undergraduate Academic Award A $500 academic award given to a student pursuing an associate or bachelor degree emphasizing Liberal Arts, General Studies, or Humanities. Architecture and Drafting Degrees - Undergraduate Academic Award A $500 academic award given to a student pursuing an associate or bachelor degree emphasizing Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Architectural Design, or Architectural Engineering. Undergraduate Distance Learning Degrees - Academic Award A $500 academic award given to a student pursuing a distance learning associate or bachelor degree program. Available to all part-time or full-time undergraduate students completing an online degree program. |
