The SUN Involvement Center is a non-profit volunteer organization that is dedicated to helping
students, faculty, and our community through meaningful community service. The SUN Center was founded upon the belief that
service is the cornerstone of a strong community. By providing a clearly identified
place for volunteer information, training, and opportunities, students, faculty, and
staff will come to learn the value of community service and involvement.”
The Mission of the College of Eastern Utah SUN Involvement Center is to:
- Empower students, faculty and community members to become a part of the
solution to the needs of our community
- Assist committed, life-long, active citizens through service
- Inspire and enhance the effectiveness of volunteerism
- Support community agencies and leaders in service oriented endeavors
- Identify specific needs and solutions
- Advocate and facilitate service as a part of the learning process through
the Service-Learning program
