Study Abroad/Bard

Through Bard College, students from the United States have an exceptional chance to attend CEU, a graduate institution in Budapest with an extraordinarily international student body, to take graduate-level courses as undergraduates.

During their stay at CEU, students join departments matching their academic interest, while taking advantage of the freedom to choose courses from any of CEU's departments and programs. Motivated participants have the opportunity to complete internships, take part in a high school tutoring program and various extracurricular activities.

Students can apply for the Fall semester (September - December), Winter semester (January - April), or a full academic year. Study Abroad students at CEU are allowed to take between 12-16 credits per semester. The program also comprises field trips, a semester-long cultural program and in-depth orientation about life at CEU and in Budapest.

Students are enabled to create a semester of challenging and stimulating courses, chosen from across CEU’s curricula. Credit can be transferred easily to any U.S. institution. For motivated undergraduates who want to spend time at a truly international university, exchanging ideas with colleagues from more than 80 different countries.
