Standards for Accreditation

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) "through accreditation, mandates that its member institutions meet rigorous and comprehensive standards, which are addressed in the context of the mission of each institution and within the culture of ethical practices and institutional integrity expected of accredited institutions."

The MSCHE is responsible for accrediting institutions of higher education in the Middle States region of the United States (Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).

CEU was initially accredited by the MSCHE in 2004. For further information on CEU's accreditation status and history, see CEU's profile in the MSCHE institutional database.
