From June 4 through July 27, CEU’s Summer University 2012 delivered 19 courses to 599 participants from 91 countries. Students were selected from a pool of 2,274 applicants. The numbers of participants, countries, and applicants represented all-time highs since the program began in 1996. Course instructors offered combinations of small group discussions, student presentations, and social events. SUN is distinctively interdisciplinary, with this year’s course titles including Problems of the Self and Sustainable Human Development.
