CEU, namely the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy, hosted the final meeting of EC Tempus project “Environmental Governance for Environmental Curricula” (EnGo, http://tempus-engo.net/, http://envsci.ceu.hu/projects/engo-environmental-governance-for-environm...) on Jan. 9-10. The project started in October 2010 with the objective to build capacity for better environmental governance curricula at the first and the third levels of higher education in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, and to develop MSc programs in Environmental Governance at seven universities in these three countries. More than 30 representatives of academic and non-academic partners convened to evaluate project activities, output and follow-up work. The overall conclusion was that the project objectives were reached, while in some instances they were even exceeded, such as targets for organization of joint training events.
