CEU’s Cognitive Development Center (CDC) celebrated its fifth birthday at a family day at the Budapest Zoo on May 31. A total of 497 parents and children, previous volunteers in CDC’s research studies, joined in the festivities, which featured activities for children such as arts and crafts, face painting, animal show and tombola as well as scientific talks and poster presentations for parents prepared by the CDC researchers. The special event was financed by an European Research Council Grant awarded to Professor Gergely Csibra.
