New Degree Programs Approved by Senate

The Senate has approved new degree programs to be offered at CEU after registration with the New York State Education Department (NYSED), with a planned start date in September 2015. The Department of International Relations and European Studies (IRES) will offer a two-year MA degree in International Relations, a one-year MA degree in Global Economic Relations is to be offered jointly by IRES and the Department of Economics, and a one-year MSc degree in Business Analytics is to be offered jointly by CEU Business School and the Department of Economics, in partnership with IBM. The Senate also approved a new interdisciplinary Advanced Certificate Program in Political Thought, as well as a modification to the Advanced Certificate Program in Religious Studies, which will now be offered also at the doctoral level.
