Roma Access Program Student Marton Talks About Involvement in NGO Against Prejudice - Hungarian news portal reports about the project ”Roma identitas kepekben” (Roma Identity in Pictures) carried out by volunteers of Uccu, a Hungarian NGO fighting against prejudice towards the Roma. One of the volunteers, Joci Marton (28) grew up in Nograd county. Currently a CEU student, he used to teach Roma folk studies in a school in the 8th district. ”During the classes, I consider nothing as rude. We go there to hear these opinions, and I think it is good if they are actually out. If we chat about the Roma issues quietly, keeping to political correctness, we will not achieve anything,” he says about the classes conducted within the Uccu project.
