CEU’s Center for Network Science and Cognitive Development Center were the first two recipients of Horizon 2020 research grants announced recently.
The Center for Network Science won a Collaborative Research Grant under Future and Emerging Technologies (FET ICT) for its research project entitled “CIMPLEX: Bringing CItizens, Models and Data together in Participatory, Interactive SociaL EXploratories.” The purpose of the project is to do basic research on ICT related data about diverse spreading phenomena in the society from diseases to innovations.
CEU’s Cognitive Development Center has joined the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Network (MSCA ITN) titled “PredictAble - Understanding and predicting developmental language abilities and disorders in multilingual Europe” which will receive funding for educating and training early stage researchers in the early prediction of developmental language problems that builds the basis for early treatment.
