Bard College, New York State, U.S., hosted a panel discussion on the Romani Holocaust, moderated by Bard President and Chairman of CEU’s Board of Trustees Leon Botstein. Experts from the fields of history, human rights, and international law, Constantin Iordachi, associate professor of history at CEU, Margareta Matache, instructor at Harvard University, and Erika Schlager, counsel for international law at the U.S. Commission for Security and Cooperation in Europe explored issues of history and responsibility. A performance of the Mozart Requiem, conducted by Hungarian conductor Adam Fischer followed.
