CEU’s Holocaust Teaching Project to Be Presented at 5th International Conference on Holocaust Research

A project on teaching the Holocaust, developed by Andrea Peto, associate professor in the Department of Gender Studies, Helga Dorner, lecturer at the Center for Teaching and Learning, and Edit Kovacs, PhD student in the Department of Gender Studies, has been selected as an exemplary and innovative educational project to be presented at the 5th International Conference on Holocaust Research “Afterwards. An experiential history of the Holocaust 1945 – 1949.” Co-hosted by the German Federal Agency for Civic Education, the European University of Flensburg and the Humboldt University of Berlin, the conference will take place on January 25-26, 2015 in Berlin. The course was supported by the USC Shoah Foundation Teaching Fellowship.
