CEU Organizes Conference on Freedom of Expression and Media Freedoms in Light of Charlie Hebdo

Hungarian daily Nepszabadsag interviewed Stephanie Hennette-Vauchez, professor at the University of Paris-Ouest, Nanterre, at the event organized by CEU’s School of Public Policy, CEU’s Center for European Union Research (CEUR), the Embassy of France in Budapest, and the French Institute of Budapest, entitled “L'Après Charlie – Reflecting on Freedom(s), Religion, and Security.”

The lecture was part of Frontiers of Democracy, a far-reaching CEU initiative that aims to promote open debate, discussion, and exchange of ideas with a diversity of views about the nature of democracy today. For more, see: http://www.ceu.hu/category/frontiers-democracy
