Verzio International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Slated for November 10-15

Verzio addresses a wide range of issues, including surveillance states, refugee experiences, drone warriors, left-wing radicals, censored testimonies, anti-globalist fighters, totalitarian role-games, archival treasures, secret police confessions, environmental activists, and much more. Besides showcasing the best recent documentaries, Verzio organizes workshops, masterclasses, and student screenings and works towards creating a forum where films are examined creatively and critically. This year's program includes the following sections: International Panorama, Hungarian Panorama, ZOOM IN: Student Film Competition, Screening the Refugee Crisis, Documenting Surveillance, Festival Crossroads: Nuremberg IHRFF, Student Verzio, DocLab, and Verzio Pecs.

Should you find it difficult to pick which films to watch, CEU students are here to help you with their recommendations.

Locations: Toldi Mozi, Művész Mozi, Kino Mozi, and OSA Archives.
