Neoliberal Governmentality and the Future of the State in the Middle East and North Africa, the latest book of Emel Akcali, assistant professor in the Department of International Relations, has recently been published by Palgrave Macmillan.

Through an analysis of diverse regional case studies, the book aims to shed light on the ways in which neoliberal governmentalities have developed and functioned in various Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) countries.
