Sandor on the Need for Neuro-Enhancement Policies - Hungarian Info Radio interviewed Judit Sandor, founding director of the Center for Ethics and Law in Biomedicine (CELAB) at CEU, and professor at CEU ’s Faculties of Political Science, Legal Studies and Gender Studies, in connection with the roundtable discussion held on possible future neuro-enhancement policies. The event discussed the following questions: Should human capacities be enhanced in academic work? Should the law develop bright-line rules for regulating the access to these technologies? What will be the future policy demands for neuro-enhancement? What is the future of enhancement tools: will they emerge simply as new toys in the wearable gadget market or as enhancement technologies radically altering the quality of life?
