Senate Approves New Academic Programs

The CEU Senate approved the following new academic programs and program changes at its last meeting on November 27, 2015. Decisions on new and existing US-registered degree programs enter into force only after approval by the New York State Education Department (NYSED). This will be announced separately.

-    New degree program at the CEU Business School: “MSc in Management and Entrepreneurship” (proposed start date September 2017, pending NYSED registration).

-    Change of the PhD degree name in Medieval Studies to "Doctor of Philosophy in Late Antique, Medieval and Early Modern Studies".

-    New specialization in “Archives and Evidentiary Practices” within the following degree programs: MA in Human Rights, LLM in Human Rights, MA in Comparative History (one year), MA in Comparative History: from 1500 to the present time (two years).

-    Launching the Hungarian accreditation of the 2-year MA in International Relations.
