Torotcoi First Alumna to Tutor at Roma Access Programs

CEU alumna and doctoral student Simona Torotcoi has joined Roma Access Programs to teach Introduction to Public Policy II, during the 2016 Winter Term.

In academic year 2011-2012, Torotcoi was a student in the Roma Access Programs at CEU. She took tutoring classes in public policy, then she completed her master's degree in the former Department of Public Policy. She chose the Higher Education and Management track, where she worked on the case of Romanian Roma students' participation in higher education. Torotcoi also has an MS in Public Administration from Leiden University, and she’s currently doing research on the implementation of the Bologna Process at CEU’s Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy, and International Relations.

“There is nothing more exciting than teaching a course I have taken, in a program I was part of, a program which has played an important role in my career,” Torotcoi said of her new position. For more information, see http://rap.ceu.edu/introduction-public-policy
