Architecture and design magazine Octogon has published a 68-page special edition about CEU’s new buildings at Nador 13 and 15. The bilingual (Hungarian-English) publication includes stunning professional photos of the building as it was being built and of the completed spaces, as well as portraits of the workers by photographer Daniel Vegel. It includes interviews with President and Rector Michael Ignatieff, architects Sheila O’Donnell and John Tuomey, Campus Redevelopment Director Pal Baross, as well as executives and engineers from our partners, such as Hungarian architecture firm M-Teampannon, general contractors Market and Strabag, and Siemens and DVM group. It also includes historical information about the buildings compiled by the Cultural Heritage Studies Program at CEU. The environmental aspects of CEU’s project were included in the main issue of the magazine, which is accompanied by the special issue about CEU for both subscriber and newsstand buyers.
The publication was coordinated by the Campus Redevelopment Office and the Communications Office at CEU. If you’d like to review or purchase copies of the special issue, please contact Ildiko Rull, Hungarian media relations manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
