Zofia Pazitna Wins Award for Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Qualification

CEU Campus Redevelopment Officer Zofia Pazitna won the Chris Bennett CEE Memorial Award for her performance as a candidate for membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the world’s leading professional qualification in the fields of land, real estate, infrastructure and construction.

The award ceremony took place in Vienna on September 21 as part of the highly successful Central and Eastern Europe Property Forum. Chairmen of interviewing panels were invited to submit nominations after approximately 90 membership interviews held across Central & Eastern Europe last year. Submissions were then assessed by John Verpeleti FRICS, a long-standing and close friend of the Bennett family. Pazitna, mentored by Pal Baross FRICS, was one of three winners, along with Iva Eretova of Skanska in Prague and Rudolf Nemec of JLL in Bratislava.

Pazitna, an alumna of CEU (SOCI ‘08), holds an MSc degree in Corporate Real Estate from Henley Business School, University of Reading, United Kingdom and has helped guide the campus redevelopment project since its inception.
