CEU’s Human RightS Initiative (HRSI) seeks applications to a one–day intensive workshop on Fundraising at CEU from 10 am to 6 pm Saturday, February 4.
This workshop aims to provide students with practical skills needed to work in the not–for–profit sector. Participants will:
- learn the principles and key concepts of fundraising;
- understand fundraising as a planned and continuous activity, and the ongoing organizational efforts required for it;
- become familiar with different fundraising techniques and their adaptability
- get a view on different campaigns
Eligibility:
CEU students, junior staff, CEU alumni, staff from Budapest–based NGOs, students from other universities.
Application Process:
Applicants should fill in the attached Application Form and return it to hrsi@ceu.hu before the deadline.
Selected applicants will be notified via email a few days after the deadline.
Deadline:
Applications should be sent to HRSI no later than January 24.
Fee:
The workshop is free of charge.
All participants will be rewarded a certificate of completion.
Trainer:
The workshop will be facilitated by Andras Nagygyorgy.
Andras Nagygyorgy is a fundraising and organisational development specialist. His seven years of experience in fundraising and awareness raising campaigns at a major child care NGO, his current position at the Hungarian brand marketing team of Milka chocolate and his contribution to Greenpeace CEE’s strategic fundraising projects are aligned to his dedication for professional NGO management.
