Annual Hungarian Red Cross Blood Donor Clinic Slated for February 6

The Hungarian Red Cross will hold its annual blood drive at CEU on Feb. 6  from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the October Hall (Oktober 6. street 7, ground floor, across from the main entrance). To register, participants will need to produce one form of ID from each of the following three categories: 1) official ID/passport; 2) residence card/residence permit and official proof of address in Hungary; 3) TAJ card/EU health insurance card (blue) or national social security card. After being registered, volunteers will receive a simple blood test to determine if they are eligible to participate. The donation process from registration to giving blood to a short resting period takes about 40 minutes. 

Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat before donating blood.
