The Central European University established its reputation as a leading world research institution and graduate school. The university known by its English name has followed a unique mission of aiding international dialogue among historians from different countries and was successful in connecting different national historical professions and in establishment of the globally reputable model of comparative historical research.
The editors of the Ab Imperio Journal are grateful to the CEU for rich intellectual experience and professional training that they received while at the university. The editors attest that the presence of the CEU in the capital of Hungary promoted globally the reputation of the country and the city.
