CEU’s Academic Cooperations Officer Agnes Leyrer, who is also a member of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) Professional Development Committee, attended the EAIE Spring Academy in Marseilles, France, on April 24-28.
Leyrer took part in a two-day course on Strategic International Partnerships: Secrets for Success. The course aimed to strengthen participants’ ability to develop and maintain successful international partnerships through discussions of best practices, models, structures, and processes. The course “can also help CEU streamline its institutional academic relationships,” Leyrer says.
The EAIE Academy takes place twice a year (Spring and Fall) at different European locations. The one-week event focused on higher education internationalization and was attended by approximately 120 admissions officers, recruitment experts, strategy builders, student life professionals. could benefit from the courses.
