Committed to academic freedoms and scientific dialogue, we are deeply concerned about the turn in Hungarian educational policies in general, the National Higher Education Act in particular and its implication for the Central European University (CEU). It conflicts with the principle of free research which
is essential to create knowledge and scientific progress, as well as innovative and sustainable societies.
