Brokerchooser, a CEU Innovations Lab startup, was selected among 35 fintech (financial technology) companies to participate at the Fintech Circle Institute kickoff in London. Brokerchooser co-founder and CEO Tibor Bedo presented the short video course he developed on enhancing customer focus.
The Fintech Circle Institute is a peer-to-peer online learning platform, designed to empower finance professionals with the necessary digital skills to adapt to the rapidly changing finance industry. With board members ranging from traditional banks and fintech experts to academics from leading universities, the platform offers practical bite-size courses on topics including wealth technology, robo-banking, artificial intelligence and enterprise innovation and startups.
Brokerchooser’s video course “Fintech Customer Focus Secrets” reveals how financial startups are superior to traditional institutions in rolling out products and services customers love. Within one hour students can lay the foundations of researching customers and translating the results to pragmatic next steps. From the theory on the role of customer research in an organization to practical content consumption discovery by scroll heatmaps, the video covers most aspects of customer research. The case studies presented lets students leverage the real-life experience Brokerchooser has gathered during its journey from idea to successful startup. The course is available until the end of the year for free, after that it will be subscription based.
The Institute's launch event was held at Rise London, a UK fintech hub featuring a panel discussion among of fintech innovation experts from Barclays, HSBC, Thomson Reuters and Warwick Business School.
