The Human RightS Initiative (HRSI) at CEU offers a one–day intensive workshop on the Basics of Project Management at CEU on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 9 AM – 5 PM.
This workshop aims to provide participants with practical skills needed to work in the non-profit sector. The workshop is recommended to participants with no or relatively little experience in project management.
Goals of the training

To equip course participants with tools and knowledge which enable them to lead the implementation of any project in their own organization.

To enable them to apply basic skills related to effective project planning and implementation.

To allow participants understand that strong ownership of the Project Management tools and processes are key to organizational effectiveness.

To familiarize participants with Agile Project Management.
Participants will learn about the specific steps in the project planning and management and can familiarize themselves with a new concept called Agile Project Management. Those who go to the workshop with a project idea might finish with a project plan at the end..
The workshop will be hosted by Kiry Noemi Ambrus, lead trainer and consultant of Civil Support Nonprofit Ltd.
Eligibility:
CEU students, junior staff, CEU alumni, staff from Budapest–based NGOs, students from other universities are welcome to the workshop. The workshop is free of charge for all applicants and all participants will receive a certificate of completion.
Application Process:
Applicants should fill in the Online Application Form before the deadline.
The selection will be based on the application forms and the selected applicants will be notified via email a few days after the deadline.
