What's your favorite Hungarian food?
Vadas zsemlegombóccal (game with sauce and bread dumpling) the way my grandmother made it for Christmas
Whose works of art or design have had the greatest impression on you?
Van Gogh, the swirling trees and the sky on his paintings
What's your favorite language, whether you speak it or not?
Portuguese, I learned it during my PhD when dating my future wife. I also like German, especially reading 20th century German literature in the original language.
What's your favorite quote or idiom?
Morgen, morgen, nur nicht heute, sagen alle faulen Leute (and people say German cannot be beautiful), of course I always apply this to other people, never to myself :-)
What do you like to do best on Sundays?
Have a relaxing family day: go to church, have family lunch and then play with the kids
Which is your favorite building, park, museum, or public spot in Budapest?
Czakó kert, one of the last buildings of the demolished Tabán district which for at least a century was the last house of the city. It still feels like you are in a wine-growing village in about 1800.
What's your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate after dinner. So much that I have to make sure there is none in the house, in fact, I sometimes end up eating some of my daughters’ chocolate, since they always get some and I never do.
What is your favorite or most visited website or blog?
index.hu, mno.hu, in fact I visit them too much in order to procrastinate
Name one adventure you'd like to have:
To have a quiet weekend with my wife but without the kids, does not sound like an adventure but with 3 small kids, it is!
Talking about kids, the attached photo was made by them, this is the way they see me!
