Gore Selects Urge-Vorsatz European Climate Science Expert

Nobel Laureate and former US Vice President Al Gore has selected CEU Professor Diana Urge-Vorsatz ahis European climate science expert for his recent Climate Reality leadership corps training in Berlin - his first training in Europe in 5 years.

Gore launched the "Climate Reality" lecture series in 2000, which was the foundation of the Oscar-winning documentary "An Inconvenient Truth." Based on his work, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in 2007. 

The training took place in Berlin on June 25-27. Urge-Vorsatz, together with Henry Pollackemeritus professor at the University of Michigan, prepared scientific information for the training and answered questions submitted by the participants.
