CEU alumna Borbala Czako and CEU Professor Diana Urge-Vorsatz were recently named on Forbes Hungary's prestigious "Most Influential Women in Hungary" list.
Alumna Borbala Czako (BUSI ’90) was named ninth most influential woman in the business category. Among CEU’s earliest graduates, Czako is president of the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum and a board member of Mezohegyes Nemzeti Menesbirtok es Tangazdasag, a horse breeding and agriculture organization. CEU Professor Diana Urge-Vorsatz of the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy was also named. Urge-Vorsatz, who is also a CEU alumna (ENVS'93), is a member of the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum and Vice-Chair of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Working Group III of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Urge-Vorsatz recently gave a public lecture about the impact of climate change and the ways we can still address this global problem at CEU’s inaugural Knowledge is Borderless event.
