In the run-up to CEU’s dissertation writing period, the team at the Vera and Donald Blinken Open Society Archives (Blinken OSA) has reached out to the university’s students—and to the wider CEU community—to urge them to make the most of the Archive’s outstanding online resources.
"Start your research by browsing Blinken OSA’s online catalog. Once you have identified the archival materials you need for your research, check if they are available in our Digital Repository or Curated Collections. If relevant documents are not there—for copyright or privacy reasons—you may still be able to find them in our dedicated Research Cloud, accessed through your CEU identifiers. You can also use our newly introduced Digitization on Demand service to acquire additional materials.
Don't forget that under our Partner Projects page, more online sources can be accessed, most notably the Parallel Archive. We regularly post collections highlights on our institutional YouTube channel as well."
Istvan Rev, Director of the OSA, reminded researchers that they are “not alone in overcoming obstacles and difficulties while doing online research”.
The OSA’s reference service team is at the disposal of the Archive’s users and can be contacted at info@osaarchivum.org.
