Academia Europaea Appoints Martin Kahanec Chair of Economics, Business and Management Sciences Section

Professor Martin Kahanec, the Head of the Department of Public Policy (DPP) and faculty for Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy, and International Relations, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Economics, Business, and Management Sciences section of Academia Europaea

"I am humbled and honored to be appointed chair of the Economics, Business, and Management Sciences section of the Academia, boasting 150 eminent scholars and experts in their respective fields," comments Kahanec.  "I will be looking forward to an inspiring collaboration with section Members, building on the successful past activities, such as the 2020 Academia Europaea COVID-19 Virtual Workshop hosted by DPP."

Academia Europaea is a European Academy of Humanities, Letters, and Sciences. Its members are scientists and scholars who collectively aim to promote learning, education, and research. It was founded in 1988, presently counting more than 5800 members which include leading experts from the physical sciences and technology, biological sciences and medicine, mathematics, the letters and humanities, social and cognitive sciences, economics, and the law.
