Central European University (CEU) congratulates alumnus Njoya Tikum from Cameroon (IBL 2005/06) for being included on the 2023 ‘100 Most Reputable Africans’ list compiled by Reputation Poll International (RPI). Njoya was selected for this list based on his work as Manager of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Regional Office for West and Central Africa.
At CEU, Tikum’s thesis examined "Protection of Security Interest under the Uniform Act Organising Securities in the organisation for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (Ohada) and Article 9 of the United States Uniform Commercial Code (UCC Article 9)" under the supervision of Professor Tibor Tajti.
RPI, a leading global reputation firm, released the 2023 list of 100 Most Reputable Africans on January 5, featuring individuals from diverse sectors including governance and leadership, entertainment, human rights/advocacy, education, and business. Honorees were selected based on criteria integrity, visibility, and impact.
