Economics of Populism Series Features Massimo Morelli at CEU

On February 8, Massimo Morelli, Professor of Political Science and Economics at Bocconi University, presented the lecture "Given its Consequences, Can Populism be Long Lasting?" at CEU as part of the "Economics of Populism" series organized by CEU's Department of Business and Economics and CIVICA.

The lecture focused on the consequences of populism for democratic backsliding and on the short and long term consequences for economic performance and for the functioning of existing institutions.
