CEU’s Computer and Statistics Center offers free computer courses for staff and faculty during Fall Term. The courses are now open for registration on Infosys (UIS).
- Statistics Primer (beginner statistics course based on Excel; offered only in Fall Term): Sept. 20 – Dec. 13, weekly on Wednesdays, 16.00-17.30 – STARTING SOON
The Nador 15 Second Floor Restaurant opened on September 25. At the end of the last academic year, the space had to be retendered and Central Bistro was selected as the new provider. The opening hours will be 8.00 am – 4.00 pm weekdays.
The opening hours of all the catering facilities on campus:
Nador 9 Ground Floor Cafeteria – 9.am – 3.00 pm weekdays, lunch is served from 11.00 am.
Nador 15 Ground Floor Café – 8.00 am – 9.00 pm weekdays; 10.00 am – 6.00 pm Saturday

As a next step in CEU’s full transition to Microsoft Outlook 365, login to the below websites will require your Microsoft (O365) username and password, effective immediately. They will no longer be accessible with Novell credentials.
The New York State Education Department has approved the proposed change of the doctoral program in Medieval Studies. The new degree name on diplomas will be: PhD in Late Antique, Medieval and Early Modern Studies.
Students who enrolled under the old name will graduate with the old name. Those who will enroll under the new name (those who have applied/are applying this year) will graduate with the new name. Thus applicants who will be accepted this academic year should already receive an enrollment letter with the new degree name on it.

Thank you [Provost/Pro-Rector Liviu Matei] for your kind introduction. Thank you also to our student speakers, whose energy and excitement is inspiring to all of us.
Two new units have been created, Event and Space Management and Space Rentals and Front Office Services in order to enhance the resources and efficiency of the event and support services that the University provides to the CEU community and visitors.
These new units will take over these services previously provided by the External Relations Office and the Space Planning and Operations Team. A brief overview of the new units’ functions, staff members and contact details are below.
