Tell us about yourself.

I am a first-year student in the 2-year MA in Nationalism Studies. Before joining CEU, I earned a bachelor's degree in International Relations at the American University of Sharjah. I also worked for a year as a Research Assistant at an environmental NGO in Dubai, contributing to the achievement of global sustainable development goals by organizing educational programs for students across the MENA region.

Why do you enjoy participating in CEU’s Student Recruitment Internship Program?

I really enjoyed working on educational programs as part of my previous work experience and I see CEU’s Student Recruitment Internship Program as an excellent way to continue engaging with students internationally. My participation motivates me and allows me to contribute to and enrich the CEU community by sharing the amazing opportunities offered by the university.

Why would you recommend CEU to a prospective student?

I recommend CEU because I value its strong stance on academic freedom and its combination of high-quality teaching in a wide range of disciplines and an engaging international environment.

What makes CEU special for you?

What I love about CEU is its unique emphasis on developing the individual skills profile of every student. The programs offered include a wide selection of elective seminars and focus on the advancement of independent researchers, allowing me to gain practical skills, whilst focusing on my personal academic interests.
