Student ID Card

On the following page, you can find information about the Hungarian Student ID as well as the CEU Student ID in Vienna. Furthermore, you can find information about discounts with the CEU ID card (mostly in Hungary).

Discounts with CEU ID card

On this page you can find a list of restaurants and shops near Budapest campus where you can get various discounts with your CEU ID card. For student discounts in Vienna please check out this website. The international student identity card also offers a variety of discounts for students, you can request it online.

Please note that in most cases, CEU is not notified by the service provider of a change in location, operation of the company or of the validity of the CEU discount. In case you experience such change, please contact us at studentlife@ceu.edu (Budapest) or studentcenter@ceu.edu (Vienna) so we can update the discount provider list.

Online Services:

WinZip:

  • WinZip offers $10 off WinZip Pro for all students and staff of Central European University. Use this link to get the discount.

Achievable:

  • Achievable offers 25% discount for the CEU community. Use this link to activate the discount.

DAS Akademie:

  • DAS Akademie offers 10% discount (with an upper limit of 100 EUR) for the CEU community on intensive or evening German language courses in Berlin or online. 

MURF:

  • MURF offers 20% discount for CEU students and faculty on all subscriptions. 

RushTranslate:

  • CEU students are eligible for a 20% discount on all certified translation services in 65+ languages provided by professional translators from RushTranslate!

Transly:

  • All CEU community members are eligible for a 15% discount on translation services provided by Transly.eu. They specialize in Baltic, Nordic, and Slavic languages, but can translate most European languages as well. To get the discount, please send an email to info@transly.eu.
