The Human Resources Office at Central European University (CEU) invites applications for a Change Management Specialist position. The successful candidate will have a key role in the development, implementation and launch of a new change management plan, which includes the development of an improved communications plan for various projects and processes within the HRO. The Change Management Specialist will contribute to the improvement of communication between various stakeholders across the university and HRO. Excellent English skills are a top requirement for this role. The Change Management Specialist will also support HRO in the daily dual campus operations in Budapest and Vienna.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

Change management:

  • Supporting the HRO leadership and other HRO supervisors with projects and processes by recommending and implementing necessary actions in an effort to enhance the understanding, co-operation, and acceptance of HRO projects and processes by CEU employees.
  • Ensure a solid co-ordination between HRO members and CEU employees and create a consistent approach of HRO’s projects and processes.

Communication:

  • Advising HRO on best practice tools, channels and other creative ideas that will aid in the successful delivery of vital HRO messages to employees.
  • Developing and implementing a monthly and yearly communication plan under the supervision of the HR Director.
  • Establishing a successful flow of communications across all channels (email, social media) in co-operation with HRO leadership.
  • Supervising HRO’s communication projects and processes to ensure all message are clearly delivered to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Preparing PowerPoint slides for meetings with the Senior Leadership Team and other important meetings as requested.
  • Developing a pro-active communications approach with colleagues to ensure a solid understanding of HRO’s projects, their next steps, results and deliverables, thereby ensuring the co-operation of colleagues as necessary.
  • Proofreading all documents and written statements that are prepared by HRO for CEU employees and the wider community.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, or another discipline related to the job description.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in change management (former experience in HR is an advantage).
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of communication.
  • Excellent English and communication skills.
