Central European University (CEU) has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, pro-active, and data-driven professional to join our Student Recruitment Office as Data analysis & CRM Specialist. The position entails foresight, analysis, and data management for CEU’s prospective student pipeline, the technical implementation of the CRM systems, and the execution of scheduled e-mail campaigns targeting prospects and work-in-progress applicants. The role focuses on data analytics and reporting on a wide range of data in order to support the implementation of successful recruitment and conversion strategies and marketing campaigns.

Your duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct robust data analysis to drive student recruitment using a range of data sets, including both qualitative and quantitative data, and interpreting findings to present appropriate conclusions using data visualization to inform mid-course corrections in recruitment strategy and tactical activities
- Analyze prospect pipeline, application and admission progress on a regular basis and forecasting student enrollment using different models to inform, guide and when needed redirect CEU’s student recruitment activities, including Identifying and reporting on KPIs
- Provide information, guidance, and relevant staff development to support the effective communication of recruitment business intelligence and management information across the university, including the development of an easy-to-interpret dashboard to share progress with leadership, departments, programs, and other stakeholders engaged in supporting student recruitment
- Enter, process, maintain, and report on prospect data and recruitment activities in CRM systems, and in connection, managing Google Analytics properties and performing measurements in relation to recruitment campaigns, compiling reports on prospect and applicant data and conversion of outreach activities
- Work closely with the IT support team to maintain flawless operation of CEU's CRM systems (I.e., SITS, TargetX, etc.) and ensuring data integrity and data consistency of the recruitment databases (such as duplicate matching)
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion, dealing with information in accordance with GDPR requirements and professional standards, liaising with CEU’s Legal Office on data protection and data handling issues
- Lead handling and processing, including maintaining various inquiry and event forms
- Support Communications, Marketing & Outreach (CMO) in managing e-mail marketing campaigns via TargetX and/or other CRM tools and scheduling communication items accordingly
- Respond to emails and inquiries from prospective students and external partners during peak recruitment periods
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by Student Recruitment or Communications, Marketing and Outreach leadership.
Your skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience with CRM systems, data analysis, and visualization skills, including data forecasting, mining, and statistics
- Excellent Microsoft Office and Excel skills and strong practical ability to manipulate and analyze large and complex datasets
- Ability to tell simple and persuasive stories using by analyzing complex data for a variety of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences, through effective visually impactful presentations and/or custom dashboards (i.e., Power BI or similar tool)
- Experience analyzing complex data from a wide range of sources and interpreting outputs appropriately
- Experience with email marketing tools such as Constant Contact, Mail Chimp
- Advanced project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects/requests simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy

We offer a competitive salary starting from a gross of 40,000 EUR/year. A higher salary is possible if warranted by the candidate’s working experience.
