The CEU Vienna Campus at Central European University (CEU) invites applications for an Enrollment Management Coordinator position. The initial contract is for a one year with the possibility of renewal; the probation period is one month.

Central European University (CEU) will begin offering undergraduate degrees at its new campus in Vienna, Austria for the 2020-2021 academic year. The university invites applications for an Enrollment Management Coordinator who will assist with the establishment and launch of undergraduate enrollment management processes for the inaugural undergraduate student class. The Coordinator will also assist in the transition of the existing graduate enrollment programming from CEU's Budapest campus to the Vienna campus.

The ideal candidate is result-orientated and capable of building effective relationships with prospective undergraduate students, parents, school administrators and beyond. This position might require frequent travel between Budapest and Vienna.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and launch of the undergraduate enrollment management processes for inaugural BA programs in Vienna and coordinates the transition of our graduate enrollment programming from Budapest to the Vienna campus.
  • Prepares and maintains information on the CEU website about Austrian student visas. Serves as the liaison with relevant Austrian authorities and consulates and advises prospective and admitted students on visa matters. Prepares and distributes visa invitation letters in close coordination with CEU's admissions, legal counsel and student services teams.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding admissions, departmental offerings and campus visits in Vienna. Responsible for advising applicants and prospects on the application process, admissions offers and course fee information.
  • Serves as a liaison with prospective students, applicants, parents, high school counselors and departmental representatives by presenting information about CEU at high schools and hosting Vienna campus tours.
  • Under supervision of the Vice President for Enrollment, Careers & Alumni Relations, liaises between the Budapest-based admissions, student recruitment, financial aid, career services and alumni relations teams and Vienna campus leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Work experience (1-2 years) with undergraduate admissions in Austria.
  • International higher education work or study experience (especially in the USA or Canada).
  • Experience working with international students and diverse populations, including providing expertise and advice regarding admissions and enrollment.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English and German.
  • Well organized and self-disciplined with the ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure within strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work alone and as a team player.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy and experience in records management and database usage. Ability to review, analyze, formulate and organize data and information.
  • Ability to follow through on assignments.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • A strong sense of initiative while managing multiple responsibilities concurrently.
