HR Assistant

The Human Resources Office at Central European University (CEU) invites applications for an HR Assistant position. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Merging and maintaining Excel sheets
• Delivering contract packages for signing
• Managing contracts
• Maintaining a steady contract signing workflow
• Following and administering signing procedures
• Contacting employees, scheduling appointments
• Managing internal and external mails
• Filling employment certificates and HR declarations
• Managing employees’ attendance at the mandatory medical exam
• Working with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Teams) on a daily basis
• Preparing assignment contracts, consulting other units on contract details
• Using CEU’S HR/Payroll database (NEXON) for data entry and queries
• Copying and scanning sensitive documents, organizing and filing documents in a precise and orderly fashion

Qualifications:
• High school diploma (BA degree is an advantage)
• Very good communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Hungarian
• Full computer literacy
• Precision, attention to detail, priority-setting, multiple-tasking
• Experience in administration/office work is an advantage
