The Human Resources Office at Central European University (CEU) invites applications for an HR Partner position. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Managing HR ticketing system
  • Prepare contracts for employees/assignees and inform them about employment/assignment legislation
  • Prepare, process and distribute information to Payroll
  • Managing the onboarding process for employees
  • Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on University policies, procedures and documentation
  • Provide advice related to Labor regulation for assigned Units
  • Maintain HR database and HR files for assigned units
  • Supporting the planning of the personal budget
  • Participating HR projects

Qualifications:

  • College/university degree (HR/Law)
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a similar position
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices, and experience of working in multicultural environment and/or at a university
  • Very good communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Hungarian
  • Full computer literacy
  • Precision, attention to detail, priority-setting, multiple-tasking
