Junior HR Coordinator/Generalist

The Human Resources Office at Central European University (CEU) invites applications for a Junior HR Coordinator/Generalist position. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of renewal. 

 

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Prepare contracts for employees/assignees and inform them about employment/assignment legislation 
  • Prepare, process and distribute assigned units’ information to Payroll  
  • Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on University policies, procedures and documentation 
  • Maintain HR database and HR files for assigned units 
  • Participation in HR projects and sub-projects
     

Qualifications: 

  • College/university degree (HR/Law) 
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar position
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices, and experience of working in at a university and/or multicultural environment 
  • Very good communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Hungarian  
  • Full computer literacy 
  • Precision, attention to detail, priority-setting, multiple-tasking and proactivity
