The Central European University InnovationsLab (CEU iLab) at Central European University is accepting applications for the position of Program Coordinator.
At CEU iLab we nurture innovative new businesses that work to create solutions for the most pressing global challenges. Our entrepreneur teams work at various industries, are at different phases of their project development, have different approaches to various problems and solutions, and work hard to succeed. We work to create the best support system for the participating teams to significantly increase their chances for success. We have an abundance of university resources to offer including, but not limited to, our vast faculty and alumni mentors, global networks, research possibilities, and our nearly 30 years of experience in Business education. Our incubator program is constantly evolving as we work closely with teams to unlock their full potential.
CEU iLab’s mission is to analyze the factors that lead new businesses to success. Our objective is to predict the future performance of the startups by applying scientific techniques to find patterns in startup-related datasets. We aim to create, discover, and analyze data sources that will drive tomorrow’s entrepreneurship-related research initiatives.
Reporting to the CEU InnovationsLab Director, the Program Coordinator will be required to perform all necessary administrative tasks of the iLab’s daily operations. The candidate will be offered the Coordinator or Assistant position, depending on their level of experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Administrative Tasks working under the supervision of the Operations Manager

  • Coordinate CEU InnovationsLab mentor program, workshops, courses, events;
  • Liaise with coaches, mentors, teams;
  • Administer CEU InnovationsLab facility related matters;
  • Manage cohort applications and schedule interviews;
  • Manage program documentation (e.g. agreements, financial application forms, evaluation forms, assessment forms);
  • Gather and systematically organize documentation related to the iLab operations;
  • Provide administrative support to research grant applications and management.

Support role

  • Provide support to Head of Marketing with social media content development (website, FB, Twitter, Linkedin);
  • Coordinate student communication efforts, including capstone and field project program deadlines and procedures;
  • Serve as point-person within the CEU InnovationsLab on iLab related information;
  • Serve as an integral member of the CEU InnovationsLab.

Required skills and competencies

  • University degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s);
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience on a basic level (e.g. managing data, working with a budget);
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Fluent English language skills (written and oral);
  • IT familiarity: office applications, web editing, databases & professional media;
  • Ability to organize and disseminate information, tailoring as necessary to diverse target groups;
  • Comfortable working in a highly international and diverse environment.


  • Knowledge of Hungarian and/or German;
  • Work experience in the field of higher education or recruitment;
  • Infosys software experience.

We offer a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience as well as a dynamic and international academic environment. The initial contract is for 1 year with the possibility of renewal.
