The Central European University InnovationsLab (“CEU iLab”) is accepting applications for the position of Project Coordinator for its “Energeia Project”. Aim of this project is to promote female entrepreneurship in Hungary and Poland, and support migrant Ukrainian female entrepreneurs.
At CEU iLab we nurture innovative new businesses that work to create solutions for the most pressing global challenges. Our entrepreneur teams work at various industries, are at different phases of their project development, have different approaches to various problems and solutions, and work hard to succeed. We work to create the best support system for the participating teams to significantly increase their chances for success. We have an abundance of university resources to offer including, but not limited to, our vast faculty and alumni mentors, global networks, research possibilities, and our nearly 30 years of experience in Business education. Our incubator program is constantly evolving as we work closely with teams to unlock their full potential.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the implementation of the Energeia project based on pre-defined goals and objectives,
  • Coordinate the creation of a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on „The Entrepreneurial Lifecycle” and „Soft Skills for Entrepreneurs”: participate in curriculum development; technical implementation; coordinate with lecturers; and content developers and all other project stakeholders,
  • Help planning and coordinating scouting,
  • Coordinate initial and final report,
  • Coordinate the implementation of in-person and online events related to the project, among them a 3-day online and a 3-day in-person entrepreneurship bootcamp,
  • Help planning and coordinating the implementation of the communication, dissemination and marketing strategy by helping create press releases, social media post, as well as regular updates to stakeholders,
  • Follow a detailed project schedule and accommodate changes if circumstances require,
  • Coordinate the workflow with subcontractors (tasks, keeping track of deliverables),
  • Create regular management reports and measure project performance based on pre-defined set of criteria,
  • Follow industry best practices throughout project implementation.

Qualifications:

  • University degree
  • English language proficiency
  • Minimum two years project management or related experience, overseeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Minimum two years of experience in the field of startups, entrepreneurship and innovation
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Experience with MOOC and online content creation is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, research and writing skills
  • Ability to implement projects according to pre-set scope, budget and timeline
  • Ability to accommodate change and modifications to the original plan
  • Experience with project management softwares, methodologies and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience as well as a dynamic and international academic environment. The contract is for one year.
