Student Information System Analyst / Developer

The Information Technology Unit at Central European University invites applications for an entry level Analyst/Developer to staff its major student information system development team. This is a great opportunity for talented professionals to join an international organization that is currently undergoing major transformation.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Configure / Develop web based end-user interfaces to the Student Information System
  • Provide technical support and guidance for users of the Student Information System
  • Recommend system based enhancements resulting in improved university processes


  • A higher education certificate in IT is preferred
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Experiences in ERP solutions
  • Proven experience in HTML and JavaScript is essential
  • Experience with MSSQL querying and generating XML is preferred
  • Must demonstrate the ability to manage workload and deliver against set deadlines
  • Must be a proactive solution seeker
  • Must communicate effectively with both end-users and colleagues in technical and non-technical roles
  • Must work efficiently in a team environment


We offer a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience as well as a dynamic and international academic environment. The initial contract is for 1 year with the possibility of renewal.
