The Student Recruitment Office (SRO) at Central European University (CEU) invites applications for a part-time or full-time Student Recruitment Coordinator position. The initial contract is for one year with the possibility of renewal.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Student Recruitment. The Recruitment Coordinator supports the administrative work of the Student Recruitment Office and works closely with other administrative units of the University.

Data management duties and responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the student management IT support team to maintain flawless operation of CEU's CRM system (SITS)
  • Entering, processing and maintaining prospect data and recruitment activities in SITS
  • Managing e-mail marketing campaigns to prospective students and applicants
  • Managing the online communication plan of the Student Recruitment Office and scheduling communication items accordingly
  • Creating e-mail templates for marketing messages
  • Compiling reports on prospect and applicant data in the CRM system

Other tasks:

  • Respond to emails and inquiries from prospective students
  • Hold recruitment presentations for students
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and other recruitment activities
  • Arrange the distribution and shipment of CEU's recruitment materials to its partners internationally

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Hungarian is an advantage)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with databases, especially with CRM systems, is an advantage
  • Experience with marketing communication and HTML is an advantage
  • SITS knowledge is an advantage
  • Office administration and experience
  • Detail-oriented, precise and diligent working attitude
  • Some work experience in multicultural environment and/or in a higher education institution is an advantage
