Tell us about yourself.
I graduated from St Lawrence University in Upstate NY with a BA in Government and Psychology. Being passionate about community work, I was awarded a fellowship to volunteer in a Burmese refugee-migrant school in Thailand, where I developed the Social Studies curriculum.
Why do you enjoy participating in CEU’s Student Recruitment Internship Program?
I believe that it is very valuable to have student voices heard during the application process. I decided to come to CEU because a CEU alumnus told me about the university. I am so thankful for these personal interactions that I wish to share my knowledge, experiences and stories of CEU with others.
What would you recommend to a prospective student?
My best advice is to always be active and try not to miss out on opportunities. Thankfully CEU has plenty to offer, so you just need to be on the lookout to take full advantage of the resources offered here.
What makes CEU special for you?
I worked very hard and put so much effort to be here, so I think overall, being in Budapest and Vienna and studying at CEU is very special in itself. Life at CEU is GREAT! It's been so much fun so far (even the more difficult classes because I get to challenge myself and that can be fun too).
